Snowboard size chart questions
What size snowboard for my height and weight?
Find your weight in the first chart, then check the length against your height in the second. A rider 5′9″ (175 cm) and 154 lb (70 kg) fits 152–160 cm, and starts at 156 cm.
Height and weight give different lengths. Which wins?
Weight. It’s what flexes the board, and brands’ own charts list rider weight. A board too short for your weight feels unstable at speed.
Is there a different chart for women?
No. Length follows weight for everyone. Width uses men’s boot sizes, so check the brand’s chart if you ride in women’s boots.
Should my board reach my chin?
Between chin and nose is the old rule, and it’s only a starting point. Weight matters more than height.
How we size: REI’s weight chart sets the range and evo’s height chart checks it. Sources and dates are on how we size. For boots, ability and style, use the snowboard size calculator.
