What size bike, snowboard or skis?
Size charts disagree by about one size, and most are written by a shop selling one brand. We read the brands’ own charts, put them side by side, and tell you why a size fits.
Your height
Sizes from your height alone. Each calculator adds what else matters.

Bikes
Height and inseam give the frame size for road, gravel, mountain and hybrid bikes, plus kids’ wheel sizes.
-
Snowboards In season
Weight sets the length, height checks it, and boot size decides whether you need a wide board.
-
Skis In season
Height and ability give the length; weight and where you ski move it 5 cm either way.
One rider, four size names
A rider 175 cm (5′9″) tall, sized from each brand’s own published chart. This is why we show your size at the brand you’re looking at, not one letter for everyone.
| Bike | Their size for 175 cm | Chart |

How a size is worked out
Your measurements
Height, and inseam or weight or boot size where they matter. In cm or inches. Nothing is sent to us; your browser remembers your last numbers.
Published charts
Brand and shop charts read on their own pages, each with its link and the date we checked it. How we size.
One size and the reason
A size to start with, the size either side when you’re close, and a plain line on why. No brand pays for a result.
